Biography
An architect by profession, Varun Chakravarthy has been setting his cricketing career in concrete. Smitten by the beautiful game after the 2003 World Cup watching Sachin Tendulkar smash sixes, he went to learn the tricks of the trade playing ‘gully’ cricket. The mystery spinner has eight different ways to leave the batsman dumbfounded, and its little wonder as he never leaves the house without a cricket ball. Admittedly a shy guy, Varun’s hidden ‘mystery’ has been his love for films and editing short films. The one chore he detests the most is cleaning the house, although cleaning up the opposition’s wickets doesn’t seem to be a problem for our very own ‘Gully Boy.’
