The domestic white-ball season wrapped up with Vidarbha lifting the Vijay Hazare Trophy, but for the Punjab Kings, the tournament served as a vital proving ground. With the 2026 IPL season just around the corner, six of our "Shers" took to the field to sharpen their skills and find their rhythm.

From clinical wicket-taking spells to gritty shifts with the bat, our boys stood out for their respective states. Here is how they fared:

Prabhsimran Singh

Prabhsimran led Punjab to the semi-finals, captaining from the front with 443 runs at a 55.37 average. More than just the numbers, his temperament stood out; he hit five fifties, including clutch scores of 88 and 87 during the knockouts. This mix of natural aggression and new-found maturity is a massive boost for us heading into the IPL.

Vishnu Vinod

Vishnu Vinod was pure carnage for Kerala. His unbeaten 162 off 84 balls against Puducherry, blasted with 14 sixes, was the tournament’s loudest statement. Crossing 100 career tournament sixes cements his status as an elite power-hitter. Finishing with 422 runs at a massive 105.5 average, his raw middle-order muscle is exactly what we need for the IPL.

Priyansh Arya

Priyansh Arya gave Delhi real teeth at the top, racking up 331 runs with total fearlessness. His standout knocks, a rapid 78 off 45 balls against Saurashtra and a clinical 72* against Services,, showcased his ability to dictate terms early. That high-octane intent and strike rate are exactly what we need to ignite our powerplay when the IPL season kicks off.

Harnoor Singh

Harnoor Singh acted as Punjab’s bedrock, grinding out 326 runs with serious composure. His unbeaten 115 against Meghalaya was a masterclass in pacing a chase, while his 94 against Goa and a gritty 51 in the quarter-final showed he doesn't blink under pressure. Having that reliable, anchor-like presence at the top is a massive win for our IPL plans.

Yash Thakur

Yash Thakur was Vidarbha's bowling heartbeat, finishing as their top wicket-taker with 19 scalps in 9 matches. He saved his best for the final, bagging a clinical 4/50 to dismantle Saurashtra and secure Vidarbha’s maiden title. His consistency and ability to strike in high-pressure moments make him a massive asset for our pace attack this IPL season.

Musheer Khan

Musheer Khan was a premier all-round force for Mumbai. He was a total rock with the bat, tallying 245 runs and scoring gritty fifties against Uttarakhand (55) and Goa (60) to anchor the middle order. His left-arm spin was just as vital, yielding 10 wickets over the campaign. That dual-threat capability makes him a massive asset for us.

Arshdeep Singh

Arshdeep Singh was Punjab’s primary weapon, spearheading the attack with clinical precision. His standout performance was a lethal 5/34 against Sikkim, where he demolished the top order to set up a massive ten-wicket win. His ability to swing the new ball and execute death-over yorkers remains elite. Heading into the IPL, his wicket-taking rhythm is a huge boost for us.

Such exuberant displays serve as the perfect backdrop of what we can expect from the Shers in the IPL season.
