The excitement never dies when the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) is in question, and the announcement of the schedule for 2018 is set to ensure just that! Season 11 is set to be played over 51 days, across nine venues, between 7th April and 27th May.
The Sher-e-Punjab from Kings XI Punjab will kick-start their campaign when they pay a visit to their fellow North Indian franchise, Delhi Daredevils on the 8th of April.
The first KXIP home game will take place at the Holkar Stadium, Indore, where they play host to their fellow Kings – Chennai Super Kings.
In a bid to take quality cricket to further niches of the country, KXIP will be playing three home matches in Indore, with the remaining four home matches to be played in the evergreen IS Bindra Stadium at Mohali.

The lions from the North will take a trip all the way down South to Chennai on 20th May to play their 14th and final league-stage match of the season.
With reports of revised telecast timings quashed, the original timings of 4 PM IST and 8 PM IST starts remain the same. KXIP have three of their 14 matches scheduled for the 4 PM IST slot.
