Amidst the IPL retention buzz, our PBKS Shers dominated the cricketing stage over the last week. While our Indian domestic players set the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 on fire, our overseas Shers Nathan Ellis and Sikandar Raza prospered as well.

1: Sikandar Raza - 3/10 vs Tanzania, 58 and 3/3 vs Rwanda

Zimbabwean legend Sikandar Raza continued to roar with his performances in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier! He orchestrated a brilliant show against Tanzania, taking 3 wickets for a mere 10 runs and securing 2 catches, thus breaking Ryan Burl’s record of taking the most catches by a Zimbabwean in T20Is. Raza's heroics continued against Rwanda too as he scored a quickfire 58 off 36 balls and then claimed a sensational hat-trick. 

2: Nathan Ellis - 3/45 vs India

Nathan Ellis stood tall despite the onslaught in the second India-Australia T20I. On a batting paradise in Thiruvananthapuram, Ellis shone bright, picking up 3 wickets for 45 runs, in a high-scoring game that saw over 400 runs being amassed. 

3: Rahul Chahar - 5/34 vs Arunachal Pradesh

Rajasthan's magician, Rahul Chahar, spun a web on the Arunachal Pradesh batters, claiming an incredible 5-wicket haul for just 34 runs, helping his team to a solid victory during a Vijay Hazare trophy clash.

4: Atharva Taide - 35 & 1/12 vs Meghalaya

Atharva Taide's prowess was on full display for Vidarbha, as he dismissed the set batter Nakul Verma and also contributed 35 crucial runs with the bat, despite histeam falling short against Meghalaya.

5: Harpreet Brar - 2/42 vs Baroda

Despite Punjab's narrow loss to Baroda, Harpreet Brar's bowling offered some promise. He took 2 wickets and gave away just 42 runs.

6: Rishi Dhawan - 48 vs Uttar Pradesh

Rishi Dhawan showed a fine batting performance against Uttar Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare trophy, scoring 48 runs off 42 balls. He was the one who provided the much-needed impetus to Himachal Pradesh’s innings, helping the team reach a respectable score.

7: Vidwath Kaverappa - 2/51 vs Uttarakhand

Karnataka's Vidwath Kaverappa continued to impress,  grabbing 2 wickets for 51 runs. He played a vital role in Karnataka defending 284 against Uttarakhand.
