An article published on the Dainik Bhaskar website as well as the newspaper on the 23rd of July claimed that Kings XI Punjab have organised selection camps to be held in August at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan.

We at Kings XI would like to caution our fans and general public that the report is false and should be ignored. We are in the process of taking action against the concerned party.

The report claims that the Shers are to hold coaching camps across different cities, with the intention of selecting 120 upcoming cricketers who would be potentially given chances at the VIVO Indian Premier League.

Kings XI Punjab deny having conducted such training camps and would advise readers to exercise their discretion in providing any credence to such news.

The franchise would also like to opine that reports on former player Mohit Sharma and Ranji players Prabhakar Jha, Nitin Tyagi participating or judging such trails are also untrue.

KXIP does not intend to conduct such training/ trial camps in the near future and would advise the public to stay away from such camps.
