While Kings XI Punjab celebrated victory over Rajasthan Royals at the IS Bindra Stadium at Mohali on Tuesday, the occasion was a bit bittersweet owing to the injuries to Moises Henriques and Mujeeb Ur Rahman on the day.

The Australian, who was set to make his debut for the Shers in this contest, had to pull out due to an ankle injury that he sustained in pregame warm-ups when he went to take a catch. Mujeeb, who bowled three overs for 24 runs, had to be replaced by substitute Sam Curran in the second innings after the youngster felt discomfort in his shoulder following his valiant effort in saving a boundary.

Both players are awaiting further results to determine the nature of their injuries.
