CSR initiative enhances classroom facilities, sanitation and waste management at PM Shri Government High School, Miani

Hoshiarpur, Punjab, October 22, 2026: Reaffirming its commitment to standing up for Punjab and contributing to the state’s development beyond the cricket field, Punjab Kings has supported an infrastructure upgrade at PM Shri Government High School, Miani, Hoshiarpur, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The project aims to enhance essential school facilities and create a cleaner, safer and more conducive learning environment for students.

The upgraded facilities were inaugurated by Ms. Aashika Jain, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, in the presence of Mr. L. C. Gupta, CFO, and Mr. Ashwani Kumar, AGM, representing Punjab Kings. The inauguration was also attended by Tr. Primal Sharma, Area 18 Chairman; Tr. Ritvik Chauhan, NPC; Tr. Amit Khosla, Chairman, Amritsar Round Table 378; Tr. Anish Gupta, Vice Chairman, Amritsar Round Table 378; and members of the Amritsar Round Table 378 team.

The project is a CSR initiative of KPH Dream Cricket Pvt. Ltd. (Punjab Kings), implemented by Round Table India Trust through Amritsar Round Table 378. The infrastructure improvements include new floor tiling in eight classrooms, floor and wall tiling in the school kitchen, construction of a bathroom, and the development of designated waste segregation pits to promote better waste management practices.

These improvements are aimed at strengthening the school’s basic infrastructure, promoting hygiene and sanitation, and ensuring that students have access to a more comfortable and supportive space for learning. By addressing essential infrastructural needs, the initiative seeks to contribute to an improved school experience and support the broader goal of providing quality education in a conducive environment.
