Mohali, September 25, 2026: Punjab Kings, in association with the Yuva Unstoppable NGO, has taken another significant step in its commitment to Punjab by commencing the construction of a new school block at Government High School, Mullanpur Garibdas, Mohali, as part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives focused on education and community development.

The Bhoomi Poojan (ground-breaking ceremony) was held at the school on Friday, marking the formal commencement of a project that will significantly expand the school's infrastructure and create better learning opportunities for children in the region.

The new academic block will feature 10 classroom - five on the ground floor and five on the first floor, along with a dedicated staff room and a new boys' sanitation facility comprising six urinals and three water closets. Once completed, the expansion will create capacity for approximately 400 additional students, taking the school well beyond its current strength of 302 students.

As Punjab Kings continues expanding its community footprint, the franchise remains committed to creating meaningful impact through education, grassroots development, healthcare initiatives, and long-term partnerships that strengthen the communities it proudly represents.

Through the renovation initiative, Punjab Kings aims to strengthen school infrastructure and improve essential learning facilities, enabling students to thrive academically in a safe and supportive environment. The project reflects the franchise’s long-term vision of contributing meaningfully to grassroots development beyond the cricket field.
