Punjab Kings continued their superb start to the IPL season with a commanding win over Chennai Super Kings, chasing down a formidable target of 210 in style to move to the top of the table with back-to-back victories.

After winning the toss, PBKS chose to bowl first. CSK posted 209/5 in 20 overs, but Punjab’s bowlers kept fighting throughout the innings and ensured the total remained within striking distance. Vijaykumar Vyshak once again delivered when it mattered most, finishing with 2/38 and producing another impactful spell in the middle overs.

With the foundation firmly laid, skipper Shreyas Iyer took control of the chase with a captain’s knock. Calm, composed and elegant at the crease, Iyer brought up a superb half-century in just 29 balls, keeping the innings on track and ensuring PBKS stayed ahead of the asking rate.
